CAMPUS & FACILITIES

Since 1970, Burke Mountain Academy's original campus at the foot of Burke Mountain has been the heart of our school, with classrooms, dorms, training facilities, and gathering spaces set across 35 acres. Our campus extends to our European Training Base in Sterzing, Italy, giving Burkies a home for training and learning both in Vermont and abroad.

EAST BURKE, VERMONT

Set on 35 acres in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, Burke Mountain Academy’s campus offers sweeping western views of Willoughby Gap, with Burke Mountain rising to the east. Located at the foot of the mountain and adjacent to the Kingdom Trails network, BMA's campus is approximately two hours from Burlington, two hours from Montreal, and three hours from Boston.

Classrooms are located throughout campus in the school’s original building, Frazier House, Witherell House, and the Kitchel Science Center. Our five dorms are equally distinctive and welcoming, with a mix of wood cabins, farmhouses, and handcrafted post-and-beam homes. For decades, these spaces have fostered close connections and friendships that last well beyond a student’s time at Burke.
