The Burke Mountain Academy community runs deep. Each year, we create intentional opportunities to come together, whether at World Cup races, during international travel with our athletes, or at gatherings closer to home. These connections reinforce the shared values, hard work, and bonds that define what it means to be a Burkie. We hope to see you out there!
WINTER 2026 BMA ALUMNI SKI WEEKEND
March 6-8, 2026 | Burke Mountain Resort
To our BMA alumni, come enjoy the slopes of Burke Mountain under its new ownership by Bear Den Partners, and take advantage of lift ticket and lodging deals reserved just for you and your family.
What's in Store:
Skiing is the main event, but also join us for après-ski at the legendary Bear Den, Burke's favorite mountain bar and the perfect spot to share stories, catch up with old friends, and toast to new memories. Then wake up Sunday morning, take a few laps, and head to campus for a delicious brunch.
Feeling competitive? Why not ski a few gates and show us you've still got it, or brush up your technique with tips from one of our current BMA coaches?
Weekend Itinerary:
Friday, March 6th
- Arrive at your leisure and settle in.
- BMA Alumni and Friends Gathering 6-8 PM at the home of Viki '74 and Richie Woodworth
- 3159 Darling Hill Rd - Lyndonville, VT
Saturday, March 7th
- 8:00 - 9:30 AM: Check-in, pick up lift tickets, coffee in Hotel Day Lodge
- 10:00 AM-12:00 PM: Meet at Mid-Burke Express Lift for a group photo and free ski.
- 12:00 PM: Casual lunch meet-up in Hotel Day Lodge (lunch not provided)
- 1:00 PM: Click in and take a few turns through a short race setup
- 3:00-5:00 PM: Après ski meet-up in Bear Den Bar
Sunday, March 8th
- 9:00-11:00 AM: Ski on your own
- 10:30 AM-12:30 PM: Brunch in the BMA Dining Hall
