At Burke Mountain Academy, we prioritize long-term planning and the process of learning what it takes to succeed at the highest level over a short-term, outcome-driven strategy. We firmly believe in the benefits of periodized training, and place a strong emphasis on adequate rest and thorough preparation to maximize our athletes' potential.

Our graduates have gone on to make a name for themselves on the World Cup circuit, including athletes such as Mikaela Shiffrin '14, Nina O'Brien '15, and Britt Richardson '21, as well as notable alumni like Erik Schlopy '90, Thomas Grandi '90, Chip Knight '93, Jesse Hunt '83, Diann Roffe '85, Julie Parisien Nuce '89, Casey Puckett '90, and Bryna McCarty '02. We take great pride in the achievements of our alumni and are dedicated to helping our current student-athletes reach their full potential.

Being a World Cup slalom skier, I see a lot of injection on courses—having the fundamentals and the value of hard work that was instilled in me at Burke has proven invaluable. There are a lot of great programs in the country, but BMA was definitely the best place for me. nolan kasper '07

Through our robust athletic and academic programs, BMA athletes achieve ski racing success.
