QUICK FACTS

Founded in 1970, Burke Mountain Academy is a full-year private college-preparatory school in the northeastern United States, located in East Burke, Vermont. It educates and trains alpine ski racing athletes on the slopes of adjacent Burke Mountain Ski Area. Our students, known as Burkies, come from all over the world for one reason, to find out just how far they can go.

Geographic distribution: The majority of our student-athletes hail from New England or the New York metropolitan area, but several come from other regions of the U.S. and eight international students represent Canada, France, Great Britain, Switzerland, China, and Australia.
