Make a Bequest
You may prefer to state in your will or trust a sum of money or a percentage of your estate that you wish to give to Burke Mountain Academy.
Making a gift through a bequest, it is not subject to federal estate taxes and so significantly reduces the tax burden of an estate. The value of the bequest may be deducted when the taxable estate is determined, and there is no limit to the deduction.
Gifts by Will or Trust More on Gifts of Bequest
A charitable gift from your estate is a powerful way to support BMA. No other planned gift is as simple to make or as easy to change, should you ever need the assets during your lifetime.
Additional Ways to Make a Planned Gift to BMA
When considering a planned gift, you have multiple options available, depending on your circumstances and preferences. These include gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, IRAs, retirement plan benefits, and gifts of real estate property. We recommend that you discuss the best option for you with your tax advisor and/or attorney.
