WE CHOOSE TO KNOW

BMA seeks passionate ski racers eager to pursue their limitless academic and athletic potential in our community based on trust.

Our students experience success in ski racing, but how we maximize their potential as ski racers is what develops the critical qualities needed for them to succeed in college and the rest of life.

BMA student-athletes must be willing to embrace our ethos, in which hard work, commitment, accountability, and risk-taking are paramount. Values are equally integral to BMA, and an essential part of our values is a sharp focus on developing lifelong learners through an innovative academic approach.

Admissions to Burke is competitive and available spaces each year are extremely limited. Admission is based on past demonstration of strong academic and athletic achievement, demonstrated character values, and a commitment to the pursuit of greatness.

All applicants must be competitive alpine ski racers who exemplify extreme passion and unwavering dedication to their sport.

READY TO APPLY?

Interested full-year (U16 and FIS) student-athletes should contact admissions by filling out the inquiry form (button below). Once submitted, we will contact you with the next steps. In addition to our Academy (U16 and FIS), we have a U14 Winter Program and U8-U12 Junior Program.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT-ATHLETES

Burkies come from all over the world to BMA for the same reason - to find out just how far they can go.
International students, on average, make up 25-30% of our student population.

Recent nationalities have included Andorra, Australia, Canada, Chile, China, England, Norway, Scotland, Slovakia, and Switzerland. All international candidates are encouraged to visit BMA. If this is not possible, please communicate with the Director of Enrollment and Financial Aid to arrange an alternative process.
In addition to the required application materials, accepted international students must file additional paperwork to obtain a foreign student visa permitting an extended stay in the United States.
