WORK AT BMA

Burke Mountain Academy is the nation's first ski academy, and for over 50 years, BMA has led the way in American ski racing. Burke has always aspired to be the best place for the most dedicated and deserving student-athletes, but it's the people who live here and work here that make the difference. We're mentors and creators; we're gritty and joyous. We embrace the DIY spirit and live our values; we're all aspiring to push our limits and see how far we can go on the hill and in the classroom. That's why we're here, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Junior Program Coach

Title:  Burke Mountain Academy Junior Program Coach

The BMA Junior Program is an official U.S. Ski and Snowboard Gold Certified member club offering weekday and weekend training/racing for alpine skiers in U8, U10, U12, and U14 age groups. Our development program supports youth ski racing progression in a fun, healthy, and safe environment that fosters a life-long love of the sport.

Our race program's core philosophy revolves around all-mountain skiing, skill acquisition, confidence in various conditions, and technique/technical discovery. The program provides age and skill-appropriate gate training progressions in conjunction with directed, highly valuable free skiing, as there is a strong correlation between the volume of skiing as a young child and ski racing achievement at the high school level and beyond.
