GREETINGS AND WELCOME!

Burke Mountain Academy is a highly specialized sports academy dedicated to supporting the aspirations of ski racers willing to work exceptionally hard to achieve their goals. For over 50 years, we've been a hub of ambition, dedication, and hard work. This little school on the side of a hill in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont has consistently developed some of the top ski racers in the country, thanks to the clarity of our purpose and our willingness to go to great lengths to help our students.

At BMA, we often say we are "unapologetically not for everyone." What this means to me is that the Burke process of celebrating hard work in all areas of school life and the educational philosophies we hold about learning for learning's sake are not a perfect match for every potential student. On the other side of that coin, it also means that for the students where these values are a good fit, the Burke experience has the potential to be transformational. 

We have intense pride in our school and the values that make our experiences here so meaningful - the fun, the humility, the work ethic, and the Honor Code. Burke Mountain Academy is more than a ski program or a school; in many ways, Burke feels like home.
