Alpine Program

The alpine racing program at BMA offers world class training and racing opportunities to determined, motivated ski racers.

A Tradition of Excellence:

More than 100 BMA alumni have gone from Burke to compete for their National Team and more than 40 have competed in at least one Olympic games.  Burke Mountain Academy has produced more world class alpine ski racers than any other program in the history of US Skiing.  Our coaches are some of the very best and most experienced in the sport.  They know what it takes to succeed at the highest levels of ski racing and work diligently to help each of our students reach his or her peak athletic potential.

A System that Works:

BMA’s unique system reflects a blending of our rich heritage and culture of excellence with the latest advances in coaching resources, sport science, and technology.  Ever-evolving, we are committed to relentless innovation.

At BMA, training and racing are deliberately managed so as to maximize each individual’s potential for success.  We travel all over the world to find the best conditions for training and competition.  All FIS aged athletes train on-snow 30-45+ days in the summer and early fall in preparation for the season.  They compete across the US and in Canada, Europe, and South America.

BMA is at the forefront of technology in sport.  From our innovative use of video technology, detailed athlete tracking and analysis system, and research based sport science, we use the best and most advanced tools available to the athletic community.
