Nordic Development Camp 2011

Join us at Burke Mountain Academy for the highest quality training and racing opportunity!
This camp is an ideal opportunity for aspiring young Nordic athletes to experience Academy life, work with BMA coaches, athletes and alumni and get 3 early season days on snow with quality coaching and instruction. Athletes will travel to and from the Craftsbury Eastern Cup opener - which includes a Bill Koch race - and get to experience racing as a part of the BMA team first hand. The following days will include on-snow work in the morning and afternoon, in-depth video analysis, campus activities, games and evening presentations by US Ski Team members and BMA staff.
*Small camp and coaching group sizes provide utmost quality
*Elite race support at opening Eastern Cup series
*Coaching by BMA coaches and alumni, including former National Team athletes.
*Coaches will be using the same technical progression as we teach at BMA
*The focus will be technical fundamentals
*Video analysis and technical talk about the BMA ski curriculum
*Equipment preparation and wax clinic
*Lodging, meals and training on BMA campus, in the heart of the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont!
For Whom
This camp is designed for aspiring 10-16 year old Nordic ski racers. Enrollment is limited.
Housing & Meals
Racers stay in the Burke Mountain Academy dorms. All meals are served in the campus Dining Hall. Skiing will be on our on-campus loop as well as on the extensive Kingdom Trails system, directly across the street from the BMA Campus.

4:00 Dryland Activities/Wax Clinic
